Bill Davies - Penny's Mill: Bespoke Furniture Design

Finding Out More

If you like what you see, the first step is to give me a call. We can discuss your project, and if we seem to be on the same wavelength I’ll be very happy to come and see you. An initial visit will normally last about an hour and a half, and it will help a lot if I can see the site, move around the space and take real measurements. And I’ll do my best to arrange for you to see some of my past work.

It’s a good idea to involve me at an early stage. If you’re doing building work my input may be helpful, and of course we can’t make your furniture until we know what you would like. There’s no obligation to take things any further, and no charge unless you want me to travel abroad – and unlike many designers I’ll give you detailed drawings to keep, though I do keep the copyright.

Should you just want design input but already have someone lined up to make your furniture, that’s fine too, but we would need to agree a fee.

Finally, this website is my brochure: I don’t have a paper version as such but will gladly send you a folder with selected prints, or put images on a DVD for you to view at home.
