Installation
Proper, careful installation is vital to the success of any project, so I need to be involved. And because some of my furniture is quite complex it's best fitted by the designer. So I lead my own installation team – though I keep trying to give it up and let younger people do it for me.
However, I don't undertake building work or decoration, and I call in specialists like electricians, plumbers or Corgi installers as required by safety and legal considerations. If you have builders working for you I’d liaise with them on these and all other aspects.
Because I’m providing a handmade, high-quality product I very seldom work on a “supply only” basis, not least because I can’t back up the total package if I’ve only done part of it. And from your point of view, it makes sense to have one point of contact for all decisions or queries, or for any problems that might arise.
